The Char Dham Yatra registration process begins on March 20, with both online and offline options for pilgrims. Additionally, devotees can register via the Uttarakhand Tourism Department’s official mobile app for added convenience. To manage crowd flow, a token system may be introduced for general darshan, while special pujas like Rudrabhishek will require prior online registration.

Step-by-Step Guide to Char Dham Hemkund Sahib Registration Online

The Char Dham Yatra (covering Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath) requires mandatory online registration for pilgrims. Follow these steps to complete your registration smoothly:  

Step 1: Visit the official Char Dham registration website.
Step 2: Review the Char Dham information and the Tourist Registration and Verification Process.
Step 3: Click on “Login/Register.” You can register through one of the following options:
Individual (Self)
Family (Self and Family)
Tour Operator
Step 4: To create a new account, enter your full name, mobile number, select your registration type (Tour Operator/Individual/Family), create a password, confirm the password, and click on the “Sign Up” button.
Step 5: If you’ve already signed up, log in using your mobile number, password, enter the captcha, and click the “Sign In” button.
Step 6: After signing in, you’ll see your dashboard with your name on the left side.
Step 7: To create or manage your tour, click on “Create/Manage Tour Info.” The “Plan Your Trip” page will open.
Step 8: Click on “Add New Tour.”
Step 9: Select the tour type, add a tour name, select the tour duration (entering and leaving dates) in Uttarakhand using the date picker, and enter the number of tourists. If traveling with family, enter the number of family members. Select the specific tour date for each destination.
Step 10: Click on the “Save” button.
Step 11: Your tour will now be created.
Step 12: To add pilgrims under that tour, click on the “Add Pilgrim” button.
Step 13: You will now see the “Registration of Tourist” form, with your destination displayed automatically. Enter the details of the person(s) traveling to Uttarakhand.
Step 14: Fill in the required fields: Full Name*, Age*, Gender*, Email Address, Mobile Number (to be carried during the yatra), Country, Residential Address, City, District Name, State, Emergency Contact Person, Mobile Number, and Relation (for someone not traveling with you). If applicable, select your profession (e.g., “I am a Doctor”). Choose your mode of travel for the Dham (e.g., Private Car), and if applicable, enter the driver’s name and vehicle number. Upload a passport-sized photo, select your identity proof, and upload the document.
Step 15: If you need to add more tourists, click on “Save & Next,” or click “Finish” to complete the registration.
Step 16: After completing registration, download the Yatra Registration Letter. This PDF will include a unique QR code, which can be viewed on the “List of Pilgrims/Tourists” screen. Keep this document during your Uttarakhand yatra. An SMS with the unique ID will also be sent to the tourist.
Step 17: Keep the Yatra Registration Letter or the received SMS on your mobile during your Uttarakhand tour.
Step 18: Before checking in at your destination, a Yatrimitra will verify your registration by checking the SMS or Yatra Registration Letter (QR code).
Step 19: After verification at Char Dham, you will receive a Yatri Certificate in your login.
